In this training students/ adults (parents, staff) will learn  advanced communication skills. empathy skills and an in-depth research based process to help them solve problems at school and at home.

E: Engage Find a safe and quite place to talk. Agree to be confidential, respectful, honest and willing to solve the problem.

A: Ask Ask each other what happened. Listen to the other person and hear what s/he is feeling and thinking. Try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes.

S: Solve Identify possible solutions. Be specific. Decide on a solution that will work best for both of you.

Y: Yes! Agree on the best solution. Make a plan and begin. Thank each other for working on the problem.
