Students Offering Support provides peer helping, conflict mediation, school transition, and anti-bullying trainings. SOS creates safety and belonging so students succeed academically, feel comfortable being themselves, and develop character assets. Our proven peer-facilitated programs help orient and connect students to their school.

Students Offering Support was created by Maureen Campbell and Sharon Yoerg in 1989 in Redwood City, California. We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area but will travel to give trainings.

Our strategy is to build character by teaching communication and facilitation skills so students support one another as peers, mentors and mediators. We provide staff and student training to K-12 schools, school districts, county offices of education, private, parochial and charter schools. Click here for a list of clients.
